Men’s Sheds are place for anyone to come and do some practical work or just to socialise and have fun. We have a well-equipped workshop with a range of hand and power tools and a social area where we have a chat, a cup of tea and maybe play cards. We work on our own projects, some that benefit the local community and some to raise funds towards our own building.

The idea behind a Shed is a friendly and inclusive place to build social networks and friendships, talk about issues and experiences that affect our lives, share our skills and learn new ones. It is well recognised that social activity and a sense of purpose has a very positive effect on well-being and health, especially in later life.

Our Shed is based behind the Bishops Waltham Cricket Pavilion, meeting every Tuesday and Thursday morning, from 10am. New members are always welcome, you do not need to have special skills, just enthusiasm and a sense of fun. So come and join us!
